Thunderbird is one of the most reliable and comprehensive open-source applications. Always open source and translated into multiple languages, it is therefore the recommended application for using Ecomail on Android mobile.
Follow the steps below to set up your email account on Thunderbird for mobile:
Install and launch the Thunderbird application (click here to go to the Play Store).

Click on “Get Started.”
Then click on “Add an email account now.”

The application asks for your email address. Enter your Ecomail email and click on “Next.” Thunderbird mobile indicates that the configuration was not found, click again on next.

The application now asks for the incoming server settings.

At the next step, the application asks you to configure automatic email retrieval. Choose a frequency and whether or not to display notifications.

If this is the first time you are launching the application, it will then ask you to grant access permissions to contacts and notifications. Depending on your choice, click on the “Allow” buttons and then confirm the choice.

Once done, click on “Next”.
